Ground improvement by means of the depth vibrator goes back to an invention made by KELLER (patented in 1934).

Vibrocat rig

We cater for a wide range of depth vibrator models and techniques for incohesive and compact soils. We already compacted soils up to a depth of 65m.

Our vibrocats are continuously advanced based on the specific requirements and ideas of our customers. The designed machinery and equipment that is derived from our research and development ensure our technical excellence.

For specific requirements, we can provide equipment types with operating weights from 26 to 50 tons and penetration depths between 6 to 23m.

Keller Geräte & Service GmbH designs, manufactures, rents, and sells a wide variety of vibrators with impact forces ranging from 0 to 70 tons and oscillation amplitudes of up to 35 millimeters. This enables us to provide the optimal tool for the diverse geotechnical requirements of civil engineering worldwide.

Our equipment has a wide range of applications. Our crawler tracks are used in both the vibro-compact and vibro-tamping methods.

Applications

Our vibrocats are used for deep vibro techniques. Vibro compaction provides a very versatile ground improvement method by compacting coarse soil and thus increasing its density (backfilled with sand). KELLER Group employed this special Keller technique and know-how for example for huge land reclamation projects in the Middle East, eg The Palm Islands.
